Obala Ultra Trail

Obala Ultra Trail is a popular trail running event along the Slovenian coast with courses taking runners through villages, forests, and steep hills overlooking the sea. The event attracted around 1,550 trail runners from more than 35 countries, making it among the bigger trail events in Slovenia. Sweating up the hills and smiling at the sea views, runners of all levels enjoy the beautiful scenery and great atmosphere.

It was just a beautiful Saturday on the coast,
the sun was shining, making everyone sweat the most.
Watch them go, racing distances far and wide,
smiling from ear to ear at the medal by their side.

All were smiling, happy, full of cheer,
drained from the hills, but at the finish they appear.
Even when they run and gasp, Saint Mary appears,
they hand in their race numbers: “See you next year, cheers!”
