Ribnca Trail

The Ribnica trail runs start at the castle and pass through beautiful woods and hills. Runners enjoy great views from the ridge, friendly locals along the way, and well-stocked aid stations. It’s a lovely trail run with a mix of nature, challenge, and local charm.

Dry goods and crafts from Ribnica’s land,
today are trail runners roaming this land.
Three different Ribnica routes were raced,
at the castle finish, their Strava time was traced.

Along the cable, through the forest wide,
all the way to Saint Anne on the ridge they climbed.
Smiles at the aid stations, tables full of food,
happy and relieved, in the best of moods.

Breathing was hard as they pushed up the slope,
but in front of the camera, they still laughed with hope.
It’s lovely when the legs begin to burn,
morning muscle ache – the joy we earn.
