Tanja Žagar

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph Slovenia’s famous singer Tanja Žagar at Tivoli Hall in Ljubljana, with the venue packed full of enthusiastic fans. The concert featured a mix of new and classic songs, some of which I remembered from childhood on the radio. It was my first time photographing a concert, and capturing meaningful moments in the dark, full of lights and energy, was both challenging and unforgettable.

New post, and again “Moj roman”. When I get confirmation that I can help photograph the concert Tanja Žagar, “Ves moj svet” comes to a stop. These are those “Majhne nežnosti”, small wishes that come true – photographing a concert for the first time. Some say “Vse za ljubezen”, and photographers do everything for a good shot. So I went. “Moja mala”, camera is ready, and I am still getting used to this. Now it’s serious! “Hvala ker si ob meni ti” Danej Benulič, for giving me a few shooting tips. During the concert, “Lepo mi je”, but it’s quite a challenge to capture a meaningful moment in the lens with all the light show in the dark, “Naj živi lep spomin”, they say. “Tiho tiho čas beži” and the concert ends, first time but the best experience. Now it’s “Vračam se domov” because it’s late, and the photos are waiting for selection and editing.
